The TWF Viewer is an OpenGL 1.1 Viewer is both a standalone application that allows users to open TWF files and allows webmasters to insert TWF files in HTML documents. The TWF Viewer is a free program, released free of charge in both binary and source, under the GNU Public License.TWF files are vector-based images stored very efficiently, with the goal of reducing transfer times. Once OpenGL is installed and the TWF Viewer or the Netscape Plug-in is installed there is no code needed to download. Just view and manipulate TWF files.
The viewer was initially developed in a graduate Computer Graphics course with professor Marcelo Gattass from August to November of 1998. The development continued later at TecGraf.
