A Lightweight Software Component System
SCS (Software Component System) is a lightweight software component system designed for CORBA architectures, whose objective is to provide a middleware infrastructure suitable for component deployment. Inspired by COM (Component Object Model) and CCM (CORBA Component Model), SCS component model was designed to accomplish flexibility, simplicity and usability through a small set of API. These are implemented by components, according to their needs. A SCS component is a logic unit ready for composition and reuse. It also encapsulates an interaction, configuration and introspection model.
